Perkin Elmer Model 5100 Atomic Absorption Unit

Perkin Elmer Optima 4300DV-ICP Unit

Our investment in equipment and technology allows Greenville Metals to provide many valuable services. This, coupled with our excellent quality record, is the reason so many companies trust us to supply their products.

Greenville Metals’ technical staff includes degreed laboratory analysts working around the clock using state-of-the-art testing equipment. Our Philips X-ray fluorescence spectrometer handles most of the melting control and final product analysis. The unit is computer controlled and capable of a broad range of element and concentration values.

When X-ray can't be used, we have many options. Our Perkin Elmer Optima 4300DV unit represents the latest state-of-the-art in ICP equipment. This unit has simultaneous, multi-element capabilities and is used for routine production analyses for many elements at low to intermediate concentration levels. We also utilize a Perken Elmer atomic absorption unit with both flame and graphite furnace capability or, in some unusual cases, classical reference analytical methods are applied.

Malvern Particle Size Analyzer

Our laboratory is also equipped with LECO carbon/sulfur and oxygen/nitrogen analyzers for melting control and product assurance. A Malvern Particle Size Analyzer is available for final product assurance of powder size distribution. A Spectro Test emission instrument enables us to positively identify incoming materials and/or finished product.
